Woman charged after man's head set on fire
A WOMAN is facing serious assault charges after allegedly spraying a man with flammable liquid then lighting him on fire in Brisbane overnight.
Police believe the 28-year-old sprayed the liquid at his head before setting it alight with a cigarette lighter about 4am at a Potts St unit, near The Gabba cricket grounds.
The man's ears, face and head were burned.
He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
The woman has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 16.
