Woman airlifted after a horse trampled her

A HORSE rider has been airlifted after a horse reportedly reared up, threw her to the ground and trampled her.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue was called to a property west of Kingaroy this afternoon to assist.
The 37-year-old rider sustained suspected chest injuries.
A Critical Care Doctor and Flight Intensive Care Paramedic on-board the Sunshine Coast-based helicopter treated the woman before flying her to Nambour Hospital.
She travelled in a stable condition.
