A 38-YEAR-OLD North Bundaberg woman has been issued with a notice to appear on the charge of organising an out-of-control party.

The charge came after six people were arrested and charged as police were forced to shut down the event in Cheetham Ct on Wednesday night.

More than 100 people were in attendance when police arrived just after 10pm following numerous noise complaints and reports of a disturbance.

The woman will appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on May 8.

Police investigations continue into the matter with further arrests expected.
