Where you can go to vote

WITH only two days to go until Australia heads to the polls, early voting centres are now open in the southwest for those unable to make it on Saturday.

Nationally, more than 500early voting centres will be available before election day.

Voting centres in Chinchilla and Miles are now open.

  • In Chinchilla you can head to the CWA hall, on Heeney St, to cast your vote today from 8.30am-5.30pm, and tomorrow from 8.30am-6pm.
  • In Miles visit the Leichhardt Centre, at the corner of Marian and Dawson Sts, today from 8.30am-5.30pm, and tomorrow from 8.30am-6pm.

On Saturday voting centres will be open across the region at:

  • Chinchilla Burstows Lodge
  • St Joseph's Catholic Church Hall, Chinchilla
  • Brigalow State School
  • Condamine State School
  • Drillham State School
  • Dulacca State School
  • Kogan Community Centre
  • Meandarra State School
  • Miles Leichhardt Centre
  • Surat State School
  • Tara State School
  • The Gums State School
  • Warra State School
  • Bell State School
  • Jandowae Memorial Hall.
