Neon madness

DON your brightest neon clothes on Friday night and head to Chinchilla State High School where their P&C will be running a Neon Night fundraising bash.

The event will include races with teams of four tied together completing obstacles courses, as well as a barbecue and raffles to be won.

The fun all kicks off on the school oval at 5pm.

Tapas time

CHINCHILLA Palms Motor Inn Restaurant is offering a relaxing night full of music, drinks, tapas and pizza by the palms pool on Friday from 5pm.

Local performer Jane Zerbst will be there to serenade you as you browse through the drink and dinner specials of the night.

Celebrate in style

BRAND new women's fashion store Spirited Style will be having its official launch this afternoon.

The party starts at 5pm at the store on 95 Heeney St and is welcome to everyone.

Season's end

THE Miles & District Rugby League Club are toasting the end to another season with a banquet and presentation night this Saturday.

From 5.30pm until late at Miles' Q Hotel, the celebrations will be top form with drinks, dinner, speeches and live music from band, Turnbull.

Indulgence Day

SUPPORT the Gums State School P&C and their fundraising Ladies' Indulgence Day this Saturday.

Running from 9.30am onwards at the Gums State School, the day will be all about rewarding mums, grandmas, aunties and all the other ladies who do so much.

The entry fee of $40 will get attendees morning tea, a gourmet lunch, glass of wine and lucky door prize ticket.

Auctions and stall holders will also be running.
