FOOTAGE of a Molotov cocktail attack on Sydney's homeless has now been released as New South Wales Police continue their hunt for the culprits.

Police believe two lit Molotov cocktail explosives were thrown by someone wearing a mask in Woolloomooloo earlier this year, at a spot often used by those without somewhere to go.

The first two were thrown before midnight on February 18. A third explosive was thrown in the same area at 1.10pm the next day.

Noone was hurt in the attacks.

CCTV of the incident is now being shared with the public in the hope that it could help solve the crime.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
