Premmy twins: one dies, one fighting for life

A SUNSHINE Coast couple is mourning the death of their baby son but holding hope his twin sister can survive a desperate fight for life.

Pelican Waters couple Benjaz Sethharmz Kels and Kelsey Strong gave birth to their premature twins at home two days before Christmas.

They were born at 25 weeks.

"Seth was born at home. His dad for performed CPR for 10 minutes waiting for paramedics to arrived," the couple explains on Gofundme page.

"Half an hour later Harmony was born.

"They were flown to Brisbane via helicopter two weeks ago."

Seth underwent surgery but sadly died on January 6 "in the arms of (his mother) and father".

"Harmony is still currently alive battling in hospital … with no brother."

The couple has started a Gofundme page to raise money for Seth's funeral and the care that Harmony needs.
