
Three-year-old girl hit by car outside ambulance station
A THREE-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by a car in Sarina.
The girl was with her mum when she was struck on Brandon St at 12.10pm today.
Luckily, the pair were right outside the Sarina Ambulance Station.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a clinical care paramedic met the crew en route to the Mackay Base Hospital.
He explained this was a precautionary measure, due to the girls age and as it was believed she may have had a head injury.
He said the girl arrived in a stable condition.
Mackay Base Hospital have been contacted for an update on the girl.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said it was investigating.
No charges have been laid.
