Three people to be charged over murder of Sabrina Bremer

UPDATE, 6.15pm: THREE people have been arrested in relation to the murder of Logan woman Sabrina Bremer, whose badly burned corpse was discovered by a local at Dulguigan on Thursday, August 18.

The grisly discovery of Ms Bremer's body on Pollards Rd prompted a 50-officer homicide investigation into the case, calling for witnesses who saw her from Monday, August 16, where she was last at Logan Central police station.

A 38-year-old Wynnum man, a 28-year-old Woodridge man and a 27-year-old Kingston woman were arrested at about 12.30pm today in the Logan area and are expected to be charged in the next hour in relation to the death of Ms Bremer.

A Queensland police spokeswoman said the speedy arrests of the trio in relation to the murder of the Waterford West mother-of-two was a positive for Ms Bremer's family, as well as Qld and NSW police.

"It's a homicide so any time you get an arrest like this it's always pleasing to finalise a homicide investigation," she said.

The spokesperson could not confirm if the trio would be extradited to NSW to face the judiciary, or if the murder took place in Queensland.

"That remains to be seen, further investigation needs to be conducted before that is determined.

"This is a joint operation between Qld and NSW police; has been from the beginning and it will be to the very end.

"Joint investigations into the suspected homicide are continuing."

The spokesperson said Qld and NSW police are continuing to seek public assistance in any capacity to help with the investigations into Ms Bremer's murder.

"Investigations are still continuing - we always welcome any information from the public that they think may be able to assist," the spokesperson said.
