CHANNEL 10 has been forced to re-evaluate their safety procedures after two audiences members were taken to hospital after an incident on the set of Studio 10.

Confidential has learnt a camera jib equipment fell during the ad break for the live studio taping on Monday morning injuring two members in the studio audience.

"Obviously everyone was shocked, but the team moved quickly to ensure everyone was OK,"a source said.

An advertorial was then played coming out of the break so the crew could assess everyone's condition. It's believed panel member Jessica Rowe was particularly concerned for the affected audience member. She was seen continually holding her hand and trying to comfort her.

A spokesman for the network said as precaution, the two were taken by ambulance to hospital and examined for minor injuries. They were released the same day.

"We are in constant contact with both audience members to ensure they make a full recovery and we are covering all associated costs," they said.
