Stretching things out this Melon Festival

WHAT better way to cool down on a steamy summer day than with a nice bit of watermelon between friends?

Most people probably would not think to strap themselves into a bungy chord with three mates and wrestle in a slush pit of melon chunks for fun, but that's exactly what hundreds of happy melon festival goers spent the better part of today doing.

Chinchilla's Melon Festival is infamous for it's creative ways to enjoy the humble fruit and the melon bungy was easily one of the messiest and most fun.
