Stage set for Big Bash League finals

CRICKET: The WBBL and the men's Big Bash League are getting down to the serious end of their seasons with the WACA and the Gabba hosting the semi-finals of both competitions this week.

The Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat will meet in the first WBBL semi-final on Tuesday at the WACA.

This will be part of a double header, with the BBL semi-final featuring the top placed Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars.

At the Gabba on January 25, the Sydney Sixers will play the Hobart Hurricanes in the second WBBL semi-final.

Brisbane Heat will take on Sydney Sixers in the second BBL|06 semi-final in another double header.

The BBL Final will also be a double header with the Women's BBL, with these matches to be broadcast live on Channel 10.
