FOLLOWING the warning Queensland will face a tsunami of snakes this summer, Toowoomba's local snake catcher has been busy.

With the weather warming up snakes appear to be out in force.

Toowoomba Snake Catchers 24/7's Dave Wiedman shared a video on Thursday night of his latest removal.

A 'sneaky' red bellied black snake was wedged between two gas cylinders in a couple's backyard.

Mr Wiedman shared the video of its capture, using the slow-motion feature to highlight the removal.

The feisty snake can be seen lashing out at Mr Wiedman after it is dragged from between the two cylinders, even latching onto his boot at one point.

Mr Wiedman's Facebook followers were shocked that he remained so calm while having a venomous snake lash out at him.

Kate Lowe said: "I would of been screaming."

Kathleen Prentice said: "Holy hell Dave. Nearly dropped my wine watching that."

Nikki Briskey said: "You are friggin' crazy. Give me an office job any day."

Christine Thompson said: "Wow. It really latched onto your boot!"
