Smoke reported issuing from residential street in Miles

QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services have reported the smoke issuing from a residential street in Miles was due to a generator being tested.

Chinchilla crews were en route to the scene before being called and told to turn around after a Miles crew arrived and assessed the scene to be under control.

EARLIER
MILES fire crews have just arrived on scene to Wallen St in Miles after smoke was reported issuing from a residence.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services confirmed crews were called to the scene around 2.30pm this afternoon and have since arrived to investigate the cause of the smoke.
