Skill and smiles on display at bowls carnival

MORE than 100 players have turned out in the chilly weekend weather for the Chinchilla Bowls Club carnival.

Competitors from as far the coast to Charleville have made the trip for the three-day event, which also included a ceremony to name one of the greens after long-time member Des Obst.
