Police hunt pair over armed hold-up

POLICE are hunting a man and woman following the armed robbery of a convenience store at Springfield Lakes late on Monday.

The offenders entered the Night Owl store on Springfield Lakes Boulevard about 10.15pm, with the man producing a firearm and threatening the 23-year-old attendant.

The victim handed over a quantity of cigarettes and cash and the pair fled on foot.

The male offender is described as approximately 175cm tall, of medium build with tanned skin.

The woman is described as approximately 165cm tall, of medium build with tanned skin and multi-coloured hair.
