Shed on fire in Chinchilla

A SHED caught fire in Chinchilla this afternoon.

The structure at 2A Edward Street went up in flames about 1.30pm, according to police

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said three fire crews responded to the call, extinguishing the blaze about 2.10pm.

According to police, there was major structural damage to the shed and there were a couple of vehicles reported to have been inside.

The police spokesperson said the cause of the fire was unknown.

Queensland Ambulance Service were also at the scene but there were no reported injuries.
