UPDATE:
FOUR feet of a shark washed up on Canoe Point Beach at Tannum Sands this morning, shocking residents.
Teena Fleetwood saw the shark at 7.30am while walking along the beach.

A SHARK has been sighted washed up at Canoe Point Beach at Tannum Sands.
Lyn Farrow saw it while she was on her daily walk with her dog at 6am today.
She said what was left of the shark was four feet long, but that would have only been a third of it.

"It's huge ... I didn't expect to see one that big down there.
"It didn't even have it's top fin on it," she said.

"It would be hard to know where this would have come from though."
The resident of ten years walks the Tannum Sands beaches searching for turtle nests.
