Servo held up by knife-wielding bandit
ANOTHER United Service Station has been held up by a knife-wielding bandit, just months are a man with a shotgun made away with a sum of cash on the opposite side of town.
Police were called to the United Service Station on Helene St shortly after 8pm following reports of a man threatening staff with a knife.
Witnesses reported seeing a man being handcuffed at the scene, however a Queensland Police Service media spokesman couldn't clarify as to whether there had been an arrest made.
In February a man brandishing a shotgun held up the United Service Station next to Kahler's Oasis on Wallace St.
Investigations are continuing into the incident, with more details to be released in the morning.
