Family of missing man rules out foul play
UPDATE: Southern Downs residents are asked to remain vigilant as the search for missing man, Jamie Hardgraves continues.
SES volunteers and police are yet locate any trace of the 43-year-old Coomera man, despite spending more than two days scouring bushland near Texas.
His vehicle was later located abandoned on Stanthorpe Texas Road early on Wednesday.
His family have taken to social media to play down speculation Mr Hardgraves was involved in any untoward activity or had met with foul play.
Mr Hardgraves was last seen at Thiedke Rd at Beaudesert on Tuesday, May 17, he had told loved ones he was headed for Coolangatta but his car was found abandoned at Texas on May 18.
He is described as caucasian, about 175cm tall, proportionate build, short sandy hair and blue eyes.

SUNDAY: POLICE and the State Emergency Service are on scene today searching for a missing man who they believe could be in an area east of Texas.
Jamie Hardgraves, 43, was last seen at Thiedke Road, Beaudesert on Tuesday. His vehicle was later located abandoned on Stanthorpe Texas Road early on Wednesday.
Today, police from Texas, Stanthorpe and Killarney were on scene along with Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad members on horseback. There are 20 SES members searching the area today.
There were 45 SES volunteers in the search party on Saturday. A helicopher also assisted on Saturday.
The primary search area is off the Stanthorpe/Texas Rd, 16km east of Texas, and police are keen to talk to anyone who might have seen the man. They have also asked property owners in the area to be on the look out for the missing man.
Mr Hardgraves is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, proportionate build, short straight sandy hair with blue eyes.
If anyone has any information that could help find Mr Hardgraves they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
Police hold concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of character.
