Rescue helicopter attends two separate incidents in Miles

TWO children have been airlifted from Miles by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter after being injured in separate accidents on Saturday afternoon.

One CareFlight helicopter was tasked to Miles just after 12 noon on Saturday to airlift a girl who fell from a horse on her property, suffering suspected head injuries.

She was flown to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A second CareFlight helicopter was dispatched around 5pm to airlift a young boy injured in a Rugby accident. He suffered suspected spinal injuries.

The boy was flown to Toowoomba Base Hospital for precautionary spinal tests.

He travelled in a stable condition.
