THE TOWN Proud campaign has been boosted with major sponsor for its raffle.

Betta Home and Living has thrown its support behind the initiative, offering a $5000 voucher in store as the major raffle prize.

The campaign will be launched by the Chinchilla Chamber of Commerce and Industry in September, encouraging residents to support Chinchilla business.

Betta co-owner, Frances Purves, said he business was excited to be a part of the community campaign.

"Town Proud helps promote the fantastic retailers and businesses in our region,” Mrs Purves said.

"As a business we believe it is important to support local initiatives.”

The $5000 voucher can be used for any electrical or furniture products in store.

Entry forms into the raffle can be obtained by businesses participating in the Town Proud campaign.

Mrs Purves said the raffle was just another great reason to support Chinchilla businesses.

"I would encourage the community to throw their support behind the campaign, aimed at the prosperity of the Chinchilla business community,” Mrs Purves said.
