POLICE were forced to euthanise at least one cow injured in a cattle truck rollover southwest of Toowoomba this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to reports a cattle truck rolled off the Mitchell-St George Rd about 40km north of the turn-off near St George shortly after 2pm.

A number of cattle were trapped in the overturned trailer, with police forced to euthanise at least one beast on scene.
