Plane makes emergency landing in Toowoomba

A PLANE was forced to make an emergency landing at the Toowoomba Airport tonight.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a call was received about 7.20pm when a male pilot of a Cessna 210 was able to get the landing gear down, but it was not able to be locked in.

Police, firefighters and an ambulance were on standby.

However, the aircraft landed without incident at 7.45pm.
