WITH face-paint, crazy costumes, a wall decorated with hands and patrons all enjoying their Big Macs the community really got behind McHappy Day at Chinchilla on Saturday.

The day was dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families by raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Staff dressed up in costumes, Chinchilla Netball and Chinchilla Junior Bulldogs rugby league team helped wash cars, the Scouts collected the donations as well as washed people wind screens and Amanda Burns from Mandys Twisty Trix and face painting painted many faces throughout the day.
