OPEN FOR BUSINESS: White Bull Tavern back at it

PUBLICAN of the White Bull Tavern said the “kegs are good to go” as he welcomes Roma residents with open arms for the first time in over two months.

The White Bull Tavern, co-owned by George and Ben Cannon said they’re excited to have 100 patrons inside again after months of takeaways.

“We can put 20 people in the beer garden, 20 in the front bar, 40 in the restaurant and 20 in the function room because of our square metreage,” Ben Cannon said.

“There’s a lot of stuff we have to cover with the COVID-19 checklists and it’s intense.

“But it’s good, we’ll be right – we are really excited to have everyone inside again.”

The tavern is offering their famous parmas, pizzas and pints and everything else in-between for lunch from 12-2pm and dinner 6-9pm, seven days a week.

Mr Cannon said come in at any time but it’s best to book ahead on 4622 1133.

“We’ve had loads of inquiries for both pubs, so it’ll feel good to be back and have some normality in the community again,” he said.

“People are looking forward to sitting down and having a pub feed.

“No gaming at this stage, but the TAB will be on and we’re awaiting confirmation on Keno.

“There’s a lot of guidelines we have to follow – so it means table service for food and alcohol, patrons have to give their name, numbers and addresses and we’ve organised our tables so they’re 1.5m apart and put dividers into our sections to ensure there’s only 20 people in each area.”
