No more rain in Dalby until Wednesday at earliest
IT WASN'T a huge fall but Dalby farmers and graziers will be glad of spring rain that arrived in the district on Wednesday and Thursday.
Storms came through on Wednesday evening and there were localised falls again yesterday.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Dalby registered just 1.6mms on Wednesday with 6.8mms in the gauge yesterday, the highest fall of the month so far, beating the 5.8mms that fell on October 1.
The Bureau says the next possible rain on the forecast is for next Wednesday, October 21 with a possible late storm or shower perhaps repeating the soaking of that time this week with a 40% chance of rain.
The chance of rain is higher still on Thursday with a 50% chance of a shower or two in the Dalby district with a possible storm.
As for this weekend, it should remain dry.
Today will be partly cloudy with a top of 29. The temperature rises to 31 tomorrow with a sunny day with similar conditions on Sunday, and some cloud returning on Monday.
