Missing Kingaroy boy last seen in Gympie found safe

UPDATE:

POLICE have confirmed a 14-year-old boy reported missing from Kingaroy and last seen on June 9 in Gympie was located safe and well in Yamba, New South Wales Sunday morning at 1am. 

The police wish to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance with this matter.

EARLIER:

A 14-year-old boy is missing from Kingaroy and police want your help to find him.

The boy was last seen in Gympie around 12.30am on Friday June 9, and it is believed he may be heading to Bribie Island.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black t-shirt, brown pants, maroon shoes, and a baseball cap.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 155cm tall with a proportionate build, brown hair and brown eyes.
