McDonald's moves to cage-free eggs in US and Canada
MCDONALD's has promised it will switch to using only cage-free eggs in the United States and Canada by 2025.
The fast food giant said it would expand its purchase of cage-free eggs from about 13 million today to 100 percent of the more than 2 billion eggs it consumes in North America annually within 10 years.
It has not said if Australian restaurants will move to a similar model.
