HIS superheroes have injected millions into Queensland's film industry, and now Stan Lee is heading to the Sunshine State.
The comic book writer, film producer and publisher, known simply as 'The Man', will meet and greet fans at all three days of the Supanova Pop Culture Expo in Brisbane in November.
Lee is famously attributed for co-creating some of the comic book world's best-known superheroes currently gracing the big and small screens, such as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, Thor and the X-Men.
His cameos have also become a staple of Marvel's blockbuster movies, and recently he was immortalised in animated form for the family adventure Big Hero 6.
The 94-year-old last visited Australia three years ago, appearing as a guest at Supanova in Sydney in what was believed to be his final trip down under.
Lee will appear during all three days at Supanova's Brisbane convention, running from November 10 to 12, when he will sign autographs, pose for studio portraits and talk to fans in Q&A style panels.
