Mariah’s story should inspire us all to have a go

I MAY have put it all back on, but I do remember not so long ago when I dropped more than 10kg in a successful fitness campaign.

I felt so much better, my shirts weren't so tight and I had a spring in my step with the renewed energy boost I had given myself.

Unfortunately like many times before it slowly came back as the scales crept up a kilo at a time every month.

Yes I am back on the treadmill, but I have a long way to go.

I mention my battle with weight because of the story we have about Mariah Tonkin.

Mariah lost an incredible 63.2kg which turned her life around.

Mariah now says she wants to lose four more kilos before she is happy with her weight.

She is now planning to become a personal trainer and I can think of no better person to inspire others to get fit and lose those unwanted kilos.

Mariah's formula was based on three steps. Eat right, exercise plenty and avoid alcohol.

Let me just say if she was helping me I would have to say "two out of three ain't bad".
