A MAN has been airlifted to Toowoomba after a workplace incident at a property near Tara this morning.

The man, aged in his 30s, was reportedly struck in the head by some metal on the property about 9.30am.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene for head injuries, and neck and shoulder pain.

The RACQ LifeFlight helicopter was tasked to airlift the man to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment.

The service reported the man was stabilised before he was flown to Toowoomba in a stable condition.
