VIDEO: Lamborghini sees road is flooded, won't forget it
PERHAPS this driver has watched too many James Bond films and mistook his gleaming white Lamborghini - worth an estimated $200,000 - for a submarine.
The pilot of this supercar turned seafaring vessel decided that even though the California road was flooded, he wouldn't forget it.
In footage that has now been viewed around the world, the driver of the Italian example of vehicular wonder braves waters that seems to be worrying even the nearby four-wheel-drive owners.
As the waters rush up its bonnet and reach the windscreen, the driver doesn't hesitate.
Once they pass the deepest point, the pedal goes down and the Lamborghini takes off.
While the supercar appears unscathed, any future buyer may not be so impressed with the video.
Too many viewings of The Spy Who Loved Me perhaps.
