Kindy kids graduate in style

LAST Thursday, 16 bright kindergarten students donned their caps and gowns for a milestone they are sure to remember.

The Chinchilla Early Learning Centre held its annual kindergarten graduation, inviting family and friends brimming with pride, in celebration of the students' achievements.

Centre director Jennifer Bell said it was a heart- warming moment when the graduates mustered their courage to walk out and accept their certificates.

"There were some very nervous little people, but we were so proud of them for being brave,” Ms Bell said.

"Some of them have been with us since they were little babies, so it's very special.

"We know their parents are proud of them but we are too.”

The graduates sang and performed for their families, ending the ceremony with a traditional hat toss.

Ms Bell said the centre had opportunities available for 2019 for anyone wishing to enrol.

"One day it will be your baby that's graduating in hat and gown with our early learning family,” she said.
