Jason Day on his way to $14m bonus day after PGA win
FORMER Rockhampton golfer Jason Day is on his way to a $A14 million bonus after winning the PGA Tour's first play-off event in New Jersey.
Day shot an incredible final round of 62 to back up his PGA Championship triumph.
Day's victory saw him jump to No.1 on the FedEx Cup playoff rankings, with three tournaments to go in the season-ending series.
Sharing the lead at the start of the day, the Queensland golfer birdied three of the first nine holes to move into a clear lead.
He followed that with a phenomenal display of putting to achieve birdies on the 10th, 11th, 14th and 15th.

Swede Henrick Steinsen was the only man keeping pace with Day.
Day casually parred 16th and 17th before a birdie on the 18th saw him finish 19-under overall and six shots clear of Steinsen in second.
