House burnt to the ground

A HOUSE fire has destroyed a property in Warra, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the Lytton St address by a neighbour and arrived about 2.15am.

By the time the three crews arrived the fire had already begun to engulf the house.

Emergency crews were able to extinguish the fire by about 4.30am.

The last QFES crews left about 5am.

The Queensland Ambulance Service had paramedics on standby however there was no one requiring treatment.

Police officers from Dalby attended the scene and as of yesterday morning were still attempting to contact the residents, who were not at the property.

A Queensland police spokesperson said investigations were ongoing.
