Hinkley wary of Dockers on home track

PORT Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley says he will not be taking the Fremantle Dockers lightly despite last year’s minor premier’s 2-10 record.

The Dockers have won their past two games and although they were only against Essendon and the Brisbane Lions, the two sides below them, Hinkley said Ross Lyon’s team was dangerous, especially on its home track.

The sides go head to head at Domain Stadium tomorrow with Hinkley saying it would be tough ahead of next week’s bye.

“I rate them really high, it doesn’t matter where they are on the ladder for me,” he said.

“I rate Ross (Lyon) as a coach and the way they play.

“Their pressure is elite, always has been and it’s coming back to that level now so that makes you really worried. Their forwards are hunting again and they’re chasing and they’re tackling and they’re doing all the things that would bring a smile to (Lyon’s) face.”
