Woman hurt as gang of four attempt to break into house
DETECTIVES have charged four people following an incident on Foxton Street in Bundamba yesterday morning.
It will be alleged shortly after 11am three men and a woman attempted to gain access to a dwelling, during which a 44-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted.
The 44-year-old sustained cuts and bruises to her hand during the incident.
Following investigations detectives have charged four people.
A 31-year-old man from Purga, a 35-year-old man from Karalee, a 32-year-old man from Marsden and a 35-year-old woman from Tivoli have all been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company.
All four people are due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on September 24.
