UPDATE: One flight remains grounded at Wellcamp airport this morning, with fog causing poor visibility.

The Qantaslink flight to Sydney left just before 8.30am, but Airnorth Flight TL130 to Melbourne is still on the terminal.

A spokeswoman for Wellcamp airport encouraged passengers to check the website for all updates on delays on departures.

EARLIER: Two flights this morning remain on the tarmac at Toowoomba's Wellcamp airport due to poor visibility.

Fog has forced the delays of two flights at Wellcamp airport, with no new scheduled time listed.

Airport staff confirmed an Airnorth and Qantas flight were each delayed by about two hours, with both planes still on the tarmac.

Airnorth flight TL130 to Melbourne was scheduled to leave at 6.15am, but pilots required 500m of visibility to be able to take off.

The Bureau of Meteorology is not predicting fog for the rest of the week.

For more information, head to the Wellcamp airport website.

Drivers are urged to take care in the low visibility.
