
Family shocked as young man dies suddenly
THE sudden death of a man aged just 34 years old has shocked a Toowoomba family.
Will Southey died suddenly on Monday in Toowoomba and his family is still struggling to come to terms with his loss.
He is remembered as a much-loved son, brother, uncle, father and friend.
His sister Felicity Southey said the family was devastated by his death, and was unable to pay for the funeral fees to bury him.
"We are all so heartbroken with our sudden loss any donation would be greatly appreciated."
A GoFundMe page has been started here and has already raised hundreds of dollars.
Ms Southey told The Chronicle Mr Southey had been struggling with addiction.
The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear.
A spokeswoman for the Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance was sent to a private residence at Isabel St on Monday about 6.30am.
She no one was transported to hospital and was being treated as a "police incident".
A police spokesman confirmed officers attended the residence. No further details are currently available.
