A POLICE raid on a rural property outside Tara has seized nearly half a kilgoram of cannabis, seven plants and 253 cannabis seeds.

The raid also seized a number of utensils used for smoking cannabis, police said.

A 54-year-old Tara man was charged with producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils.

A 56-year-old Tara man was charged with possessing a utensil used to smoke dangerous drugs.

The raid was executed yesterday and involved police officers from Tara, Meandarra and the Toowoomba Stock Squad.

Both men will appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on May 30.
