Police find body of missing Mackay man

UPDATE: Police have called off the search for 54-year-old Gregory Spindler, reporting that his body had been found.

Mr Spindler was last seen on Tuesday at his workplace in Paget. A search was launched after his car was discovered at the Mackay Marina.

At 12.02am, Queensland Police advised there were "no suspicious circumstances" surrounding the man's death.

Police divers were called in to search the area around the marina boat ramp on Sunday.

EARLIER: Police divers are expected to arrive in Mackay tonight to assist in the search for Gregory Spindler.

It was expected divers would be searching near the boat ramp at Mackay Marina.

The 54-year-old Mackay man was last seen at his Paget workplace about 2am on Tuesday.

His vehicle was found at the marina.
