WHAT WE KNOW:
- 35-year-old receives laceration to head during a fight
- A woman was also treated for a minor laceration at the same scene
- Police were called about 5.55pm to the High St address with reports of a fight
- The fight location is a multi-unit dwelling owned by the Queensland Government
UPDATE 9.30AM: Rockhampton CIB are investigating the incident in North Rockhampton last night.
However, at this stage they are not releasing any further details about the incident.
UPDATE 6.30AM: Police are investigating after a man was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon as a result of an assault in North Rockhampton.
Around 5.55pm, police were called to an address on High Street following reports of a fight that was in progress.
On arrival, a 35-year-old man was found with a laceration to his head, and he was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A woman was also treated at the scene for a minor laceration to her arm.
Rockhampton CIB are investigating, and a man has been assisting police with their enquiries.

UPDATE 7.30PM: A QUEENSLAND Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed one male patient was transported to Rockhampton Hospital following an incident at High St this evening.
The spokesperson was unable to identify the nature of the injuries.
UPDATE 6.50PM: THE residence where three people, including a 19-year-old man, suffered stab injuries this evening is a multi-unit dwelling owned by the Queensland Government and represented by the Department of Housing and Public Works.
Multiple police crews and ambulances remain on scene and investigations are ongoing.
Three people are expected to be transported to Rockhampton Hospital for further treatment.
UPDATE 6.20PM: Reports from the scene indicate police have everything in hand and have calmed down all involved.
Queensland Ambulance crews are treating a man with a serious stab wound to his forehead and two others with less-serious injuries.
UPDATE 6.10PM: POLICE at the scene of the incident have confirmed a man is on the ground, suffering from a stab wound to the forehead.
Reports indicate a woman has also been injured, suffering cuts to her arm after reportedly intervening in an altercation between two men.
Further reports suggest the second man involved has also suffered injuries.
BREAKING 6PM: MULTIPLE police and ambulance crews are racing to a High St address following reports of stabbing.
Initial reports indicated an altercation between a man and a woman was underway on the driveway of a High St home.
Police have arrived on scene and have confirmed a man is bleeding from a stab wound.
