Josh beats burger challenge for the fourth time

FANCY yourself as a fast eater? Then this is the challenge for you.

The Nines Emporium at the Sunshine Homemaker Centre Maroochydore is currently running a burger challenge of epic proportions.

Challengers have six minutes to finish a huge burger, fries and a milkshake of the flavour of your choice.

The challenge is reasonably priced at $25 and you'll get your money back with a free meal and drink voucher if you can conquer it.

What's your guess on the calorie count on this burger?

You'll also have you face plastered on The Nines Facebook and Instagram pages.

Owner and Manager Janice Kuz said that a fair few had attempted the challenge but not many had managed to beat the time limit.

"We've had about 25 people now have a go and I think there's only been three winners but one of those winners has done and beaten the challenge three times," she said.

The winner is Josh Bidenhope who dominated the burger for a fourth time for our Daily camera crew yesterday.

Josh said he had always been a big eater, but this challenge took it to the next level.
