Chinchilla man found dead at home

POLICE say a Chinchilla man who was found dead at his home at the weekend died in non-suspicious circumstances.

Police were notified by a member of the public after the 67-year-old man was seen lying unresponsive in the front doorway of his home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Chinchilla Police Station officer-in-charge Acting Sergeant Michael Collett said while investigations were ongoing, police were able to confirm the man died of natural causes and that his family had been notified.
