Chinchilla Bulldogs need you!

FOLLOWING an unsuccessful AGM, Chinchilla Senior Rugby League Club is calling for some fresh faces.

Bulldog Park has become a centre for the community, hosting multiple sports on the field and making use of the club house for social and corporate events.

Club president Lee Irwin is stepping down from his role, believing the club would benefit from a fresh outlook.

Positions on the committee are voluntary and Mr Irwin said it would help the club if past players and supporters could take on a more active role.

"If we can get more people involved we can share the roles,” Mr Irwin said.

Bulldog Park is more than the home of the Bulldogs, hosting other local clubs including the Junior Rugby League, Chinchilla Touch Association, and Chinchilla River Rats Rugby Union.

"We need new people with new ideas to keep our club moving forward,” he said.

"The club is in a great position financially and sporting wise but it is looking towards the future development of the facility.”

Chinchilla Senior Rugby League's next AGM will be at Bulldog Park on Monday, November 12 at 6pm.
