Charity fair in honour of family to raise $50,000
FAMILY is the reason Raelene Wells created the Pink Charity Ribbon Fair, so it was fitting to see families out enjoying the charity event at the Harbour yesterday.
Live music by Miss Demeanour, jumping castles and emergency service vehicles were on hand to entertain and educate, and local artists and businesses sold their wares.
In its third year, the event will have raised $50,000 with proceeds going to the Cancer Council Qld.
The event is held in honour of Raelene's mother Marilyn Wilson.
"Our motto is help us fight the fight," Mrs Wells said.
"With Run for MI Life on and the Cowboys visiting, and our event, it's been a great opportunity for people to make the most of their Sunday."
