JESSE Bromwich is not the only one being hit in the hip pocket for his boozy post-Test antics last week.
The Rugby League World Cup has been forced to reshoot a host of key scenes after Bromwich played a key part in advertising the end-of-season tournament.
Bromwich was considered a "safe bet" by tournament organisers, who had him pencilled in to be the Kiwis' face of the tournament in the advertising campaign, which was launched last week.
But Bromwich will be pulled from the advertisement and replaced, after he was axed from the Kiwis World Cup squad.
He featured a handful of times in the advertisement, including a solo dressing room tunnel shot, and another doing the haka alongside fellow fallen Kiwis player Shaun Kenny-Dowall plus Solomone Kata and Jason Taumalolo.
World Cup chief executive Andrew Hill confirmed plans were in place to replace Bromwich.
"We are reviewing all of our assets," Hill said. "The broad campaign in and around promoting the World Cup involved all 14 teams and didn't concentrate on one individual. However, in reviewing those assets we are looking at making some changes and we are in the process of working through what those changes are.
"The headlines on the weekend is disappointing for everyone in the game but we are focused on delivering the best ever Rugby League World Cup."
