FORGET Dustin Martin. Essendon coach John Worsfold's main concern is not attracting the out-of-contract Tiger but re-signing his own star forward Joe Daniher.
The Bombers are believed to be making a bold play for free agent Martin but Worsfold preferred to see the red-hot Daniher sign a new deal.
The 21-year-old has slotted 10 goals from the past two games and will be hunted by rival outfits if he does not re-sign soon.
"My keenness is on Joe Daniher. He's the No.1 priority, and we're working really hard to get Joey signed," Worsfold said ahead of tonight's Dreamtime at the G clash with Richmond.
"We know how good a player he already is and how good he's going to be, and you see that from his attitude.
"I don't sit in all the meetings that are ongoing with (Daniher's) management but it's progressing really well."
