Bold women of the southwest face of Revlon lippy
STRONG global creative platform Live Boldly by Revlon Australia has launched a new campaign, Bold Matters, which focuses on important matters relevant to Australian women.
The campaign features the stories of three bold women - Jacqui, Katie and Edwina - who make the ordinary extraordinary, in drought- stricken Australia, to cast light on matters that matter.
Their passion, tenacity and courage in devastating drought conditions is inspiring.
Revlon has partnered with Drought Angels to support farmers in drought-stricken communities across Australia, with $2 from every Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick sold between October 12 and November 11 donated to those in need.
Edwina Robertson photographed the campaign and has been raising awareness for regional communities struggling with the drought through her photography and work with Drought Angels.
"There is a huge disconnect between the city and the bush, with many issues that lie in rural areas not being reported about,” she said.
"The fact that a huge global company like Revlon is willing to put their money where their mouth is and go west and actively help spread the awareness of what is happening in these communities is nothing short of wonderful and met with immense gratitude.”
Revlon marketing manager Amy Kingon Smith said they were "thrilled to launch our local platform Bold Matters, where bold women, a culturally relevant issue and philanthropy unite to create what we hope will be a campaign with impact”.
Drought Angels assists farming families affected by natural disasters Australia wide.
